Sun Princess Sydney departure for South Pacific

Sun Princess left White Bay Cruise Terminal Anzac Day afternoon. It started to rain whilst we sailed under that world famous coat hanger shaped bridge and past the Opera House. When we passed the naval dockyards at Garden Island I was surprised to see several naval ships alongside the wharfe. Later I read that the new HMAS Canberra and HMAS Adelaide, $1.5 Billion new ships had been there for over a month now, unable to sail due to engine problems. Apparently the correct maintenance proceedures have not been carried out correctly (incorrect oils used being one of the bungles) and there is doubt to wether they will be able to attend naval manouvers with the US fleet in July. A bit concerning for us tax payers!
The next couple of days at sea had been quite rocky, a few passengers had been sea sick but most of the hardier of sailers managed to enjoy the shipboard life without any concerns.
