When we left Port Vila our Captain explained they were expecting strong winds when we arrive at Mystery Island and we may not be able to tender ashore as the risk of accidents transfering to and from the tenders would be highly possible. On arriving at Mystery Island next morning all was grey when we looked from our balcony, grey sky, sea and island. No chance of a day on this tropical island so the ship then sailed slowly around the main island and Mystery island most of the day before heading off to the Island of Lifou. We had ordered a Champagne Breakfast for today, planning to eat it on the balcony overlooking the island but it was so windy and wet we indulged our beautifully prepared and presented breakfast in our cabin. It took us all morning to consume our meal whilst we sat on our beds and watched several movies. What decadence!
